The customer ordered Made To Measure Lomond Nikwax Waterproof Trousers to his specification early this year. The trousers used an impressive 11 metres of fabric and required an alteration to the pattern.

Set in the beautiful Royal Deeside landscape the annual Active Aboyne Festival will take place in September this year.
Hilltrek will run a GPS Course for walkers and mountain bikers at the Active Aboyne Festival

| Glen Tanar Estate Head Game Keeper endorses Cotton Analogy® Earlier this year we asked the Head Ranger Eric Baird at Glen Tanar Estate in Royal Deeside to organise a test of the Assynt Cotton Analogy® Jacket. We wanted to subject it to the rigours of a busy sporting estate and nature reserve.
Glen Tanar Estate, a short distance from our shop and workshops, contains the largest and finest remnants of Scotlands native pinewooods and some of Britains rarest species such as the Capercaille and Scottish Crossbill. It also has excellent fishing in the River Dee and some of the best cross-country mountain biking in Scotland as well as Mount Keen, the most easterly Munro.
Eoin Smith the Head Game Keeper, who wore the test Assynt Cotton Analogy® jacket, said ' I wore it regularly in spring and summer in activities such as salmon fishing and deer stalking, for which it proved to be ideal, not too heavy and very effectively keeping me dry. The first garment, the Lomond Walking Jacket, is now available and the company aims to offer walking trousers, children's clothing and country sports clothing in Nikwax Analogy® fabric in the near future.
